The brief

A custom web app for an association of arts, culture and heritage practitioners in Namur, Belgium, bringing day-to-day membership and programme administration together.

What I did

  • Built annual memberships and renewals, a members’ area with private resources, and opt-in newsletters
  • Added event registration with capacity limits and cancellations
  • Built Council Connect, an online-sessions section with a schedule, archive and member proposal form

The result

A membership app that takes someone from choosing a category to an active membership in one visit: they create an account, pay through Stripe Checkout and arrive in a member area with their membership card, resources and event bookings. Council Connect and the summit page sit alongside the public programme, giving the association a shared structure for its membership and activities.

The screenshots and recording show the local application with example sessions and fees, with payments running in Stripe’s sandbox, so no money changes hands. Live payments and the external event platform are not connected yet, and it has not been deployed publicly.
